Gympak offers hotels a concept of high-quality workout clothes, in-room fitness equipment and a fitness app. A service that enhances the guests’ hotel experience during their stay and gives the hotel an opportunity to earn money from additional sales.
This is how it works.
Each hotel has its own resources and procedures, but in general terms the hotel’s approach to the concept could look like this:
Guests can pre-book clothing packages and equipment directly through the Gympak app or the hotel’s website.
Their order will then be waiting for them in the room on arrival.
Of course, guests can also rent or buy clothing packages at the reception.
Guests train and take advantage of the special offers they received via the app, and then leave their rented garment bags at the reception, in their room or other designated place.
The clothes are washed at the hotel, repackaged by designated staff and re-rented.
The bag itself including clothes and shoes can be washed together, and with only 4 sizes with different color codes, it is easy for the hotel to manage sorting and repacking.
Briefly about the elements of the concept.
Gym bag to rent or sell.
The Gympak sportswear bag contains a T-shirt, 2-in-1 shorts, sports bra, socks and a pair of unique elastic fitness shoes that fit multiple foot sizes. The garments can withstand 300 washes. If you rent out the sportswear package 10-15 times, it covers the entire purchase cost of them, which means you have many more times to rent them out at 100% profit.
Use the sportswear package in your sales pitch to sell more nights: include them in the room rate, rent them out and sell new ones to your guests. Or why not include them in your loyalty program?
Training app with sales opportunities.
The Gympak fitness app is packed with over 200 workouts, from yoga to strength training, from beginner to advanced. Guests do not need any exercise equipment or machines to perform the exercises, making it easy for guests to work out in their hotel room or in the hotel gym.
What makes the fitness app unique to the hotel is that it has an “offers for you” section. In it, the hotel can create as many guest offers as they want, which are activated and become available when a guest has finished their workout. This is to drive traffic and additional sales to the hotel’s various facilities.
Exercise equipment for rooms and gyms.
Not everyone prefers to work out in a gym and not all hotels have a gym to offer their guests. Gympak’s high-quality exercise equipment are products suitable for in-room training, such as a yoga mat, soft medicine ball, rubber band, foam roller and abdominal wheel.
Promote the concept and make it visible to guests.
The fact that the hotel offers rental/sale of training clothes on site is a service that we know from surveys will be highly appreciated.
