Between forest and mountains in Øyer near Hafjell and Lillehammer, a new wellness offering has found its home. At Nermo Hotell, guests can now check in, settle in – and find a wellness kit from Gympak ready in selected rooms. With tools for recovery, mobility, and movement, it’s a natural fit for a destination built on rest and recreation.
Nermo is a fifth-generation, family-run hotel and proud member of De Historiske. With its 31 individually decorated rooms and 53 apartments, the hotel offers a calm and inviting stay, rooted in tradition and quality. A heated outdoor pool, a 9-hole golf course, and Scandinavia’s only real-grass 18-hole putting course are just a few of the experiences guests can enjoy.
Homecooked meals with locally sourced ingredients are served daily at the hotel’s restaurant – where the house-made moose sandwich and warm apple cake are guest favourites.
A historic hotel embracing everyday wellness
The surroundings make it easy to stay active and present – whether hiking in the woods, visiting Hafjell Bike Park or enjoying a city stroll in Lillehammer, only ten minutes away.
Now, the new collaboration with Gympak makes it even easier to stay in motion, with Gympaks Equipment boxes available for their guests. Each kit includes handpicked tools for mobility, training and recovery: foam rollers, yoga mats, resistance bands and more.
“Integrating Gympak’s wellness solutions aligns with our commitment to providing holistic experiences for our guests,” says John Kristian Stubban, General Manager at Nermo Hotell. “We are excited to be the first among De Historiske members to offer this enhanced service.”
Everything packed, ready and inspiring, straight to the guest room
The Gympak kits are designed to blend naturally into premium hotel stays – offering guests tools for movement, mindfulness and recovery right where they are, whenever they need it.

“We’re proud to partner with a destination like Nermo Hotell that blends history with hospitality in such a unique way,” says Christoffer Malm, Operative Manager at Gympak. “It’s a hotel made for presence, and that’s exactly what our wellness kits are designed to support.”
